And I ask why. Quite literally why. Why are they still in the game? They are no way in hell a legit kill, and it's no way in hell a fair kill. AV is much better than before (actually usable by noobs, which is why most of you wanted to keep it), so I ask, why in the hell is it still here?

BLUB The only seriously effective AV FG is the Breach. This means that I get one shot every 6 seconds and am immobilized in between shots. You get a shot (pretty close damage per shot) every, what, 3/4 of a second, you can move, you get a larger mag, and have more HP. My Jihad Jeep is the most effective AV option I have. Deal with it.

BLUB That is a legit kill and rightfully so. Takes time to prep and it's trickier on bumpy terrain than you can imagine. It actually gives my tanker alt good laughs everytime it gets killed by JLAV. That's not too often as in many cases they can be popped even by small arms. About the same amount of lols in that case. That's part of the brilliance that is New Eden, that is Dust.
I've gotten a total of 65 kills doing it.
I call bullshit. |

BLUB jihad jeeps are fun and clever... and not so easy to pull off on a skilled tanker. and still one of a few very limited effective AV options.
Fun for you, 500k out per ramming for me, and that's not fun. It must be fun for both parties, and it should be fair for both parties.
It's super easy to do, you seem so suffer from being a bluedot if you think it's hard. |

It takes much longer to get iSK up for my HAV, invalid, and no, it isn't; stop using scrubby Cal vehicles.

I never said I had any problem (as far as I've seen in bravo) for AV, I clearly made it aware that it was only about JLAV's.
Also, never used the 3x rep AV settup, as it seemed silly to me, I mean damn, rails were (and still to an extent with proto damage mods on a particle cannon) ganking me in three shots as is, so why would I make it 2?
Lastly, I only shoot at infantry if there's nothing better to shoot at.

1- destroying a LAV is neigh impossible with a nitro equipped, and just straight up impossible when a hardener is also added.
2- driving away isn't going to happen either, as by the time you see it, it's already too late. you have to be lucky and already be moving to have a chance, and that's if it's behind you, in which nitro and denied.
3- Gallente LAV's have not much of any trouble on "bumpy terrains", so there's that.
4- And that matters why? 30k vs. 500k, or free vs. 500k. it doesn't add up at all. Period. |

Anyways, let me tell you all that's wrong with that:
Your situational awareness requires you to be looking for targets, correct? Well, then, there's two things wrong with that:
1: Can't look for JLAV's while being shot at
2: Can't rapidly look around a vehicle 24/7 like infantry can, as turret speed is locked
Also add in the fact that due to the nature of blasters, you have to be close to the enemy to actually hit them, therefore being in their area of control a lot, you're prone to being insta ganked by a JLAV.
And no, I know they are coming, I can't do anything about it 99% of the time. |

JLAV =/= AV JLAV = broken tactic that for some reason infantry won't let go that should have never existed. And no, I enjoy actual AV, as they give myself a challenge. JLAV's does no such thing; only brings rage.
By the way, where else am I supposed to pull a 500k (my only HAV fit) out then? |

No, I do not, yet when I do, it's the most bullshit death that can occur to me (second is AI turrets sniping across the map). I don't like to die to bullshit. |
